{Weekend}: Fall Cooking, Game Night & Lazy Sunday

Happy Monday! Today's outfit & a few glimpses from a wonderfully mellow weekend in Phoenix. Work, lots of coffee, meetings with friends, pumpkin picking, halloween decorating & a festival to look forward to this weekend. It's going to be a good week!

1. A gift for my kitchen/my new best friend. Falling in love with an inanimate object? Proof in the number of hours I spent looking up recipes 2. The first test of my slow cooker skills - BBQ ribs with salad and cornbread.

1. Lovely fall weather visited us in AZ this weekend. Lows of 55 & highs of 78 were pure magic! Made grilled cheese & tomato basil bisque for dinner, wore long sleeves and slept with the windows open. Cozy. 2. Saturday night, bottle of vino and a new favorite activity.

1. Pool time. 2. Morning stroll through my favorite place (sigh, so much Ikea love) & potential new bedding.

  1. You'll love your Crock Pot and wonder how you ever went this long without one. I go through phases where all I eat are slow-cooked meals ;) October is a beautiful time of year in your neck of the woods!

  4. I warmed up. :(

I really want a crockpot because I think it'll be so useful for those winter recipes, but I'm not sure if it's worth the investment just yet.

  5. You should get one! Totally worth the investment. I've had delicious leftovers for DAYS!

They sell smaller sizes at Walmart for $10 - $20. I say go for it:)
