{A Learning Experience - Date Night & Brain Freezes}

In a hastily organized date night frenzy (my bad), I decided to break out of our usual Phoenix or Tempe movie & dinner date, to explore other cities around us. I settled on dinner at Joe's Farm Grill, which is located in Gilbert.

After eating our fantastic belt-busting burgers, ( I almost finished mine...I tried. Chris basically licked his plate clean, even after ordering a DOUBLE burger. They had never heard someone do that before...ha!), we took off for Paletas Betty. It was a warm night, so I figured a stop to this cute popsicle shop was a great way to end our evening.

You can find the shop in downtown Chandler, which I had no idea had such a fun little shopping district to walk around! It was late, so everything besides the San Tan Brewing restaurant was closed. Fine with me, I like window shopping!

I tried the blackberry lavender pop, and Chris ordered the banana. Full disclosure, I found out while on this date that Chris doesn't like popsicles. What! We've been together almost 3 1/2 years, and somehow I missed that. Haha! Guess you can never truly know everything about a person.

I also got a reminder of that age old lesson - never bite off more than you can chew.
Brain freezes are a nightmare.

Anywho. If you're in Chandler on a too hot day (which is everyday), stop by Paletas Betty. They use all natural ingredients, which is made very clear by the chunks of fruit you'll find while biting into your popsicle! Also check your teeth for seeds after. Cause they'll be there.
